I build and ship mobile apps for businesses
You have a product that needs to live on your customers' phones, or a mobile team that needs a senior set of eyes. Either way, you want it shipped — not "works on my machine" shipped, but live in the App Store and Google Play, stable, and ready to grow.
That's what I do. I'm a full stack JavaScript developer who builds mobile apps end to end with React Native and Expo — including the native territory most web-to-mobile developers avoid: Apple Watch apps, Live Activities, HealthKit, offline-first data. On my own time I build and ship my own apps, so I know the entire path from idea to the stores, because I walk it myself.
There are two ways we can work together:
I build your app
For companies and founders that need a mobile app built — new products, or modernizing an aging app (including migrating Ionic/Cordova-era apps to React Native).
A typical engagement looks like this:
- Discovery call — we talk through your product, users, and constraints.
- Scoped proposal — a clear plan: what gets built, what it costs, when it ships.
- The build — architecture, implementation, backend, and the native integrations your product needs.
- Launch — App Store and Google Play submission, review quirks and all, until it's live.
Build engagements typically start at $10,000, depending on scope. I take on a small number of these at a time, so the best first step is an email — if I'm at capacity, I'll tell you when I'll be free.
Without Jorge's help, I would not have been able to launch my project. Now, it's live in both app stores and the web!
Advisory for teams already building
For teams that have developers but want senior guidance: architecture and code reviews, Firebase cost and performance optimization, app store strategy, or a second opinion before a big technical decision. My wheelhouse is React Native, Expo, Firebase, and the whole JavaScript-to-app-store pipeline — I've done this for small teams and Fortune 500 companies.
Single Session
$200 / 1 hour
One hour of focused help: unblock a gnarly problem, review an approach before you commit to it, or get direct answers about React Native, Expo, or Firebase for your specific app.
You get one full year to use it — we go at your pace.
Deep Dive
$550 / 3 hours
Room for me to be hands-on: review your codebase or Firebase architecture, identify optimizations that cut billing or load times, and hand your team a concrete plan to implement.
Same deal — a full year to use your hours.
