RoundForge Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 15, 2026

RoundForge ("the app") is a free combat-sports interval timer for iPhone and Apple Watch, operated by Jorge Vergara ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles and why. The short version: RoundForge works entirely on your device, and we never receive any of your data.

What we collect

Nothing. RoundForge is fully offline. There is no backend, no server, no user accounts, and no sign-in. The app contains no analytics, no ads, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs that transmit data. Nothing you do in the app ever leaves your device or reaches us.

Where your data lives

Everything you create in RoundForge — training sessions, workout history, and settings — is stored locally on your device only. We have no way to access it. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Apple Health and Apple Watch

RoundForge integrates with Apple HealthKit. If you grant permission, the app saves your completed training sessions to Apple Health as workouts (so they count toward your activity rings), and the Apple Watch app reads workout data to run the workout session on your wrist.

All health data is written to, and read from, the Apple Health store on your own device. It never leaves your device, and we never receive, transmit, or have access to it. HealthKit access is optional: you control it through the iOS permission prompts and can review or revoke it at any time in the Health app or in Settings.

Notifications

RoundForge uses local notifications for timer alerts. These are scheduled entirely on your device and require no data collection. The app does not use push notifications.

Tracking and third parties

We do not collect, sell, or share any data with third parties. RoundForge does not track you as defined by Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.

Children

RoundForge is not directed at children under 13, and because the app collects no data, we do not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the updated version at this same URL and revise the effective date above.
